I recently had the privilege of sharing the transformative power of yoga with the wonderful community at Saint-Lambert International High School in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. For VSF Foundation, I was invited by Ms. Meera Trivedi Ji to lead a 90-minute personal group yoga class for the people associated with their foundation. What ensued was an experience filled with warmth, connection, and radiant smiles.
Walking into the school, I was greeted by a group of eager participants, ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery and well-being. As we settled into the space, surrounded by the quiet hum of anticipation, I could sense the collective energy buzzing with excitement.
We began our session with gentle warm-up exercises, allowing everyone to ease into the practice and connect with their breath. From there, we flowed through a series of asanas, each movement a graceful dance between strength and serenity. With
each posture, I encouraged participants to listen to their bodies, honouring their limitations while exploring their edges.
As we moved through the sequence, I witnessed the transformation unfold before my eyes. Tensions melted away, replaced by a sense of ease and tranquility. Smiles blossomed on faces that were once etched with worry, as laughter and joy filled the room.
One of the most beautiful aspects of teaching yoga is the opportunity to witness the profound impact it has on people's lives. Regardless of age or background, yoga has the power to unite us in our shared humanity, reminding us of our innate capacity for joy and resilience.
As our session drew to a close, I felt a profound sense of gratitude wash over me. Gratitude for the opportunity to share this practice with such a beautiful community, and gratitude for the transformative power of yoga itself.
As the participants filed out of the room, their smiles radiant and spirits uplifted, I knew that our time together had been more than just a yoga class—it had been an experience of connection, healing, and profound joy.
To Ms. Meera Trivedi Ji and the entire community of VSF Foundation, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and allowing me to be a part of this journey. May we continue to spread the light of yoga far and wide, touching hearts and inspiring lives along the way.🙏
You are amazing, Guru😍🙏
